Awesome Table Connectors now handles Jira rate limits better. If a Jira connector encounters an error that requires a retry, it pauses for the appropriate duration before resending the request through Jira API. This change reduces the likelihood of hitting rate limits.

We've resolved an issue with our Jira connector that didn’t support simultaneous usage of Project and JQL filters. Now, you can use both filters together without any issues.

The Youtube connector has been greatly enhanced with this release, and you can now:

Retrieve detailed statistics alongside the standard channel information, including the number of views, likes, and more.
Export a list of videos that have been uploaded to the channel that you are currently using as the default.
Select the Channel from the dynamic dropdown to get a list of your subscriptions, playlists or videos.
Select the Playlist from the dynamic dropdown to get a list of the videos it contains.

As a result of these improvements, Awesome Table Connectors no longer supports the following:

Playlists for a channel
Search videos / Search channels or playlists
Subscriptions for a channel
Most popular videos

With this release, we also refreshed the design of simple, single-select, and multi-select dropdowns to provide a more streamlined and visually appealing experience.

Bug fix

The placeholder text is correctly aligned with the search icon, and the search icon no longer overlaps with any entered data.

Announcement

We are thrilled to announce that we released a new Google Maps Geocode connector.

You can now easily convert a list of addresses into geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) using geocoding, or do the reverse with reverse geocoding.

Improvement

This release enhances authentication options by allowing both API keys and Bearer tokens to be passed in the HTTP headers.
In the Edit columns feature, we've reorganized the actions in the interface for improved usability. Specifically, we've removed the left/right buttons and relocated the buttons for renaming and sorting.
We've also implemented several enhancements:
- Remove a column by simply unchecking the corresponding checkbox in the column header.
- Hover over a title to display a tooltip with the full title when a column header contains a lengthy title that is truncated.

Bug fix

The Quickbooks and HubSpot connectors now correctly format timestamps as dates when you import data to Google Sheets.
The add-on now resets the saved column layout and displays a warning when switching Salesforce objects, preventing incorrect exports and informing users of potential configuration loss.

In the list request screen, you can use the search bar to find the requests you need without manually scrolling through long lists. This search bar allows you to search for requests based on request name, endpoint name, and provider name.

Bug fixes

Dynamic filter drop-downs now load correctly when you click the refresh icon.
The Overwrite button becomes clickable again if you cancel a query and then attempt to re-import the data.
Conditional dynamic filters are now properly removed from the request when switching endpoints.
Clicking the back button to close the connector now correctly navigates you back to the list of connectors.

We've revamped the basic Preview feature and introduced a more intuitive and easy-to-use columns configuration tool to help you customize your output sheet's layout. With this tool, you can:

Choose the columns you want to import
Rearrange columns
Edit the column names
Configure a custom sort order before running a request

To access it, click on the Edit columns button located at the bottom of your request page.

Improvement

You can now sign in to the Airtable connector with username and password (OAuth2 authentication).
Dynamic values are now preloaded when you open a connector for improved performance.
Column names are now user-friendly and easier to understand.
JSON syntax is now removed from cells to enhance readability.

Bug fixes

In technical connectors, the cursor no longer moves to the end of the Parameters and Headers fields whenever you type a character in the middle of the field.
The Refresh current sheet feature now also works on sheets containing scheduled requests.
Manual and scheduled refresh settings no longer interfere with each other.

We’ve updated the QuickBooks connector’s Get reports endpoint. You can now use the Exclude totals parameter to exclude totals in the reports.
We’ve also updated the Stripe connector to include the end date in your import when you select a custom range filter.

Empty rows are no longer added in the Awesome Table History sheet when importing data using the schedule request option.
If you transpose data and then use the Append to previous import mode, the data is now added to the right side of the original import (and not underneath).

We are proud to announce the new Refresh modes that you can now use with Awesome Table Connectors!

You can refresh saved requests with the following options:

Replace previous import - replace the last imported data
Append to previous import - add new data to already existing data
Import to selected cell - import new data to an exact location without affecting previously imported data
Create a new sheet - import data to a new sheet

Improvement

The Jira connector has been improved with the following additions:

Worklogs endpoint, to import your organization’s time-tracking data
Default output for Issues now include worklogs and transition states

Bug fix

When you schedule a refresh for an existing request and choose to append data to it, the newly imported data is now added immediately after the last row of the previously imported data instead of being written on the first available line.
Loading a saved request and attempting to schedule it with the option Create a new sheet for each refresh will no longer result in a "Sheet destination not found" error even if the initial sheet no longer exists.
Manually running a scheduled request will no longer change the schedule. The request will always run at the time to which you have configured it.
Spreadsheet time zones will no longer affect scheduled requests. The request will run at the time to which you have configured it.

Improvement

We released an update on the QuickBooks connector when using the Get reports data. With this release, depending on the kind of reports you want to export, you can filter your data with:

a relative or custom date range
a number of days past due
the A/R status (paid or unpaid)

Whenever applicable, you can also group your data by time, or choose the accounting method used for the report (Accrual or Cash).

The DefiLlama connector correctly imports data into Google Sheets when selecting Historical protocol TVL data.

We have released the BigQuery connector in the Awesome Table Connectors add-on. BigQuery is a fully managed enterprise data warehouse that helps you manage and analyze your data with built-in features like machine learning, geospatial analysis, and business intelligence.

With the BigQuery connector, you can easily import data from BigQuery tables or views or run a query. You can import this data on demand or a schedule.

The main difference with Connected Sheets is that Awesome Table imports raw data you can manipulate like any other data in your spreadsheet. This makes it much easier to handle data from BigQuery in many cases.

Improvement

The query configuration screen performance has been drastically improved.
On the Stripe connector, we have released the following:

Timestamps are now converted to dates
You can now add subscription details when retrieving customers
The number of rows that can be processed in a single import is no longer limited to 10,000

Bug fix

In this release, we fixed the following issues:

If you clear the "limit to xx" rows option while the option is still selected, you are prompted to enter an actual value
Queries saved with multiple values for an option are now rendered properly in edit mode

We have removed the JMESPath feature (as this is no longer relevant with our Preview feature).

If a single cell contains a big amount of data while using the Preview option, it now renders properly.

We have released a new version of the Awesome Table Connector add-on.

This version ships the much-awaited preview feature that allows users to preview and configure the data that will be imported into their spreadsheet.

You can now perform all the following actions:

Preview the data as it will be imported
Rename columns (headers) for the import
Re-order columns
Disable (remove) columns from the imported data
Transpose the data to import it in a different manner
Expand nested data to your liking
Display/copy/download the raw JSON response

Find below a list of improvements and bug fixes:

When you click outside/on the arrow, drop-down menus now close properly
Multiple select filters containing 2 options are no longer displayed as radio buttons
Using specific conditional filters no longer triggers an error

- You can now embed the same app, pre-filtered in different ways, in the container of your choice. For instance, if you have a website with one page per country, you can pre-filter the app on each country, instead of recreating as many apps as you have countries.
