Do you have any plans to add 'United States' as a region? It would be nice to be able to see geo data across various states in more detail instead of the U.S. as one region.

    Hello Patrick,

I'm not sure to understand your question because Geochart works with Longitude and Latitude, so, you cna definitely choose a state of United States if you desire.
I suggest you use our Geocode add-on to display your locations.

    Kind regards.

Hi Thomas, unless I am missing something, the region dropdown sets the 'view of the map' (in your example above you have selected Europe). There is currently no region for the united states in the dropbdown, only 'North America', which means with U.S. data, the map view starts zoomed out rather than focused on the U.S. only.

    Hello Patrick,

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your request.
Indeed, it is no possible to select states or region for a country. You are only able to select a country if you want to display a location.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @Patrick.

I was revisiting the forum and stumbled on your question.
The regions (including the Northern America sub-continent) are set by Google and we can only implement them.
A workaround is to let your users click anywhere within the US area (with no bubble markers) and the US area will automatically zoom in allowing you to see your map in greater detail (see screencast below).

But if you're looking for more granularity (per state), Google's GeoChart doesn't support that. I recommend using our Maps view with markers that support zooming in (though it doesn't have bubble markers).

    Hope this helps.
