You will create a dynamic Files Cabinet using the add-on by Awesome Table.

 

 

files-cabinet.pngThe Files Cabinet is a Google Sheets add-on that lets you effortlessly create a preconfigured AwesomeTable app by simply selecting a target folder within Google's My Drive (or Team Drive) that will then create an automatically-generated datasource listing all the contents of the folder you specified.

Files Cabinet can work with folders containing numerous subfolders and files. The add-on can accommodate thousands of files and its only limitation is the size of a single Google Sheet (two million cells - which means up to 100,000 files can be saved & displayed [this will also depend on the number of columns you have]).

 

A customizable Awesome Table app

The Files Cabinet add-on offers a pre-built AwesomeTable app allowing you to quickly sort, filter and find the files you need. This app can be embedded on any website. You can even further customize the app according to your specifications (click here to learn how).
