If you are logged in with multiple Google accounts under the same browser session, you might encounter an error when using Awesome Table or other Google Workspace add-ons.

If you want to use Awesome Table, you must be logged in with one single Google account in your web browser. You can use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Use Awesome Table in an incognito window

Procedure

1. Open the Google Chrome web browser.
2. Click the three dots at the top right and select New Incognito Window.
   
   A new You've gone Incognito window opens.
   

Result

You can now log in to your Gmail account and start using Awesome Table.

info  For users of Firefox or Safari, open the File menu and select New Private Window.

Method 2: Use Awesome Table with your default account on your web browser

The default account is whichever account you signed into when you first set up the device.

For example, if the email address alice@awesome-table.com is the default account in the browser window, you can run Awesome Table without facing any issues. The avatar on the top right must be similar to the Google account you are using.

If you want to change the default account on your web browser, we recommend that you:

1. Log out from all Google accounts.
2. Login with the new default account.
   The first account you log in with on your web browser becomes the default.

If you want to use Awesome Table with multiple Google accounts, we recommend using the third method and creating a Google Chrome profile for each one.

Method 3: Create multiple Chrome profiles for each Google account

If you have multiple Google accounts and want to use Awesome Table, you must create different Chrome profiles for each Google account.

Procedure

1. Click your avatar at the top right and click + Add.
   
   
   info  For macOS users, it is also possible to create a Chrome profile from the Profiles menu.
   
   
   A Set up your new Chrome profile pop-up window appears.
2. Click Continue without an account.
   
   A Customize your Chrome profile pop-up window appears.
3. Add a name for your profile and click Done.
   
   A new window opens.
   This new window is not associated with your default Google account.
   
4. Sign in to Chrome:
   1. Enter your other Google email address and click Next.
      
   2. Enter your password and click Next.
      
      You are now logged in with your second Google account in your new Chrome profile
5. (Optional) Repeat the steps above if you want to log in to another Google account.

Result

You are now logged in with multiple Google accounts using Chrome profiles.
