When you contact our Awesome Table Support team to troubleshoot your app(s), we may ask you to share your Excel or Google Sheets datasource to resolve your issue. This article explains why we need this permission from you.
Do I need to share my datasource and app to the Support team?
This scope is only applicable to Awesome Table app owners & editors (collaborators).
If, for any reason, we need to check your app and spreadsheet, we would require the following sharing settings:
1. For Google Sheet users
- Share with specific people: invite support@awesome-table.com to access your Google Sheets
- View only: that means we can only view, but not edit or share your file
2. For Excel users
- If you are allowed to share your Excel file across different domains, select Specific people, then invite support@awesome-table.com to access your Microsoft Excel file. Otherwise, we invite you to download your Excel file and attach it to our contact form
- View only: note that Allow editing is automatically checked. We suggest to uncheck this option so we can only view your file but not edit or share your Excel file
- Send a screenshot of your Awesome Table app and attach it to our contact form
