You can import data from any Salesforce saved report into Google Sheets.
info Note You can also use the Awesome Table Salesforce sandbox connector to import data to Google Sheets if you don't want to use your production environment. For more information, see When to Use a Sandbox.
The graphic below shows a sample Salesforce report which will be used as an example for data import in the steps below.
Prerequisites
Log in the Salesforce Connector
Procedure
- In Google Sheets, select the table cell from which you want to start inserting data.
info Note As a best practice, start by selecting the topmost and leftmost cell in address A1.
- From the Select data drop-down menu, select Get report.
- Click the Refresh button under Report to get the list of available reports from Salesforce.
- From the Report drop-down menu, select a Salesforce report to import its data.
- Click Run query.
Result
The data from the selected report is imported in Google Sheets starting from the selected cell.
