    Hello Renold,

Your links must be the same. You have to use the same link as your Google form.

    Thank you.

Renold Lim, I had the same problem. Fixed by just copying the formID and not the entire URL.

Having trouble getting the "edit entry" buttons, I have the links and I believe everything in the script is correct.  But when I open the spreadsheet in awesome tables, it does not appear as buttons, it shows the links

    Hi Eallen,

Would it be possible for you to share us your Awesome Table view and your spreadsheet at "support@awesome-table.com"? You can make a copy with similar data if it's necessary.

    Thank you.

I am having trouble with the script as well. Since most of my data already exists in the sheet (I copied it in rather than fill in through forms, there are about 400 rows) when I run the script it either doesn't produce the URL for editing or produces the same as the one original data entry I did through the form. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi Memon Samachar,

Could you send us your Awesome Table view, your spreadsheet and your Google Form, please? Make sure you give us access to your data. If you have sensitive data, you can make a copy with similar data.

    Thank you in advance.

Thank you for this awesome add-on

    I do have two questions.
    1. When I tried to run the script, I received this warning: Cannot find method getResponses(string). (line 12, file "Code")

    2. I wonder if it is possible to update a few columns at a time through the same GoogleForm

    Thank you.:)

This looks fantastic but I haven't been able to get it to work. I'm using the example files and when I go to run my script I get an error:

TypeError: Cannot call method "getDataRange" of null. (line 7, file "Code")

How can I fix this please?

    Edit**

Never mind, I figured out that the sheetName needs to equal the name of the tab in the Google Sheet, not the name of the Google Sheet itself. Probably obvious to most, I'm learning.

I've got the script working so that it will generate a URL when I submit a new form. But I want to be able to populate the form manually from Google Sheets (by pasting data in from Excel) and generate URLs for potentially hundreds of rows at a time.

How can I do this please?

    Hi Wcpang,

Would it be possible for you to share your view and your google form at "support@awesome-table.com"?
If you have sensitive data, you can make a copy with similar data.

Concerning your second question, it is possible to update several columns at the same time.

    Hi Will,

Could you share your view and your google form at "support@awesome-table.com"?
Make sure you give us access to your view. You can make a copy with similar data if you want.

However it is not yet possible to fill the form manually from Google Sheets.
