Is it possible to add a feature to the gantt view allowing the control of the task bar colours?
In this case, it would be, for example, GanttLabel(#ffffff) or GanttLabel(F). Same as buttonType where you could specify a hex value overall or index a column with hex values.
Functionally, I would like to see this as an option so that one could colour code the status of a particular task (red/yellow/green, etc) depending on other fields in the originating spreadsheet. Currently we are looking at using the sidebar, but this requires effort by the viewer.
If we could control the colours by row dynamically with formulas, the status of the tasks would be immediately visible on the chart without having to rely on the sidebar.
I've looked into the google charts documentation and it seems to be possible by passing a 'colors' object to the chart.draw method along with the dataTable. This could be pulled in directly from the data array from the spreadsheet if indexed or passed as a single value to singleColor if hex is specified.
Thanks in advance for considering.
