    Hi Cyntia,

I don't understand the meaning of your question.
Could you be more specific please?

    Thank you.

How do you add a preset filter to a google site?  When I add a "?" to the URL it drops it from the page.

    https://sites.google.com/a/nsbsd.org/test-ilf/environmental/environment-standards?filterA=Environmental

    becomes

    https://sites.google.com/a/nsbsd.org/test-ilf/environmental/environment-standardsfilterA=Environmental

When I try to set it as a url for the page in page setting.

    Hi Mark,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add parameters as a url in page setting in google sites.

    Hi,

Is there a way to share the view without having viewers have to log in? I have a form and would like to include the link to the view as the "Thank You" message, so all users are able to see  the results upon form submission. Not all users/ form submitters will be comfortable or interested in logging in, and subsequently allowing permissions for an application they didn't know they were using. Thanks!

    Hi EO,

You have to change the access to your spreadsheet in public or use "Anyone with the link" to invite the people concerned.

Here is an article that could be useful: https://support.awesome-table.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001069505#4.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Since the Files Cabinet add-on can't display folders yet, I used the 'Get filtered URL' option and I'm filtering by folder name.

But when I enter the URL in the Awesome Table gadget, it says the link is invalid.

Anyway to get a valid link so we can display a filtered view on a sites page?

    Thank you,

    Marc

    Hi Marc Bernard Schauber,

If you use classic Google Sites, here are some articles that could be useful for you:
    Preset filters in URL

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately pasting the filtered URL created by Awesome Table in the link box in #2 above, gives an error of invalid link, making it not possible to embed a filtered list.  When Awesome Table supports using a folder structure so users can navigate to the folder they need and find files, this type of embedded filter list won't be necessary (for the functionality I need.)  But for now, it seems to be the only work around.... if only the filtered URLs were valid in the Awesome Table gadget.

Hopefully there is a way around this.  Thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Marc

    Hi Marc Bernard Schauber,

    I understand your problem better.
You need to add the filter in your page url but not in your classic google site gadget. Actually you just need to add the filter at the end of your page url. But the url of your Awesome Table view must be the same, without the filter.

    Thank you.

    Thomas,

PERFECT!  Thank you so much, that works flawlessly.

This 'trick' might be worth adding to an KB article :)

While I'm here, any idea when folder navigation may be available in the File Cabinet add-on?

Thank you again for the help!!!

    Hi Marc Bernard Schauber,

I'm glad you solved your problem!
Regarding the folder navigation in the Files Cabinet add-on, I don't know when this idea could be developed but I will keep you informed. :)
