    Hello guys!

Is there any G+ that I could use to learn more about the use of Javascript in templates?

I am trying some examples but it is not working? Where could I have more support in this area?

    Thanks a lot,

    Fernando

    Hi,

How can I use an external script.

    I'd lke to use <script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js"></script>.

Executing functions from gscripts published as an executable API would made Awesome Table a very powerfull Tool. It could manage a bit more complexed relalions than only one-to-one.

    Hello Marek,

I invite you to consult the community: https://plus.google.com/communities/117434057513505498243/s/jquery.
But I do not advise you to use jquery script because it will slow down the loading of your Awesome Table view.

    Regards,
    Thomas

I made a copy of the People Directory template but wanted to add an Edit link to the About sidebar. However, I'm not able to get it to work.

    1. I've added the link and button columns,
    2. and added {{Edit}} to the bottom of the About Template
    3. But depending on where I put the link and edit columns, I get either no Edit button or the directory goes away and is replaced by the Edit links, or the edit buttons appear in the About card and in the Directory.

How do I make the Edit button only appear in the About sidebar?

    Hi Julie Sharma,

Would it be possible for you to share your Awesome Table view and your spreadsheet?
Make sure you give us access to your data. If you have sensitive data, you can make a copy with similar data.

    Kind regards,
    Thomas

This is helpful in getting a link to edit the form entry for individual rows: https://support.awesome-table.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001156125

I changed the row 2 parameter for the button to "Hidden - ButtonType(M, #009CE0)" and now it displays as expected.

I'm not clear on which designation(s) of appearance take precedent: the template, the query?

    Hello Julie Sharma,

Indeed it is the template that made the changes on your view. You need to use the keyword "Hidden" if you don't want to display a column.

    Kind regards,
    Thomas

Hello! Would it be possible to add a footer, instead of an header?

Maybe you have some work around to achieve this!

    Hello Francesca G,

The only way to achieve a footer in your view is to use a HTML template and CSS code in your data source.

    Kind regards,

    Hello @Mdv.

As mentioned in your other post:
