I did all that and my links are working very nicely. However, when I update the template, it only shows the column that has the code. <a href="{{Source}}" target="_blank">{{Title}}</a> And when I add my <div>s targeting the columns to be filtered with the information on Template!A2:B2 it filters them out below, not adding another column on Awesome Table. It pulls the data and places it below the data that the code displays. HELP!

Nevermind, I got it. I just needed to add ALL THE COLUMNS on the Template sheet, exactly as they are, and on the Template range pull A1:E2 on Awesome Table.com. But now it's called "View" instead of "Source" I as wanted it to be. Anyways, at least this does the job. Thanks, Awesome Table. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING. This is the reason I'm registering to G Suite at the end of the month.

    Hello Germán,

I'm glad you solved your issue and you like our product!

If you want your column is called "Source", you just need to replace "View" by "Source" in your template. However I suggest you to use our feature "HyperlinkType" if you want to display a link with text. Here is an article that explains how to do that: "https://support.awesome-table.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003754905".

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Thomas

    Hi Leonardo Heusy,

Would it be possible for you to share your Awesome Table view and your spreadhseet at "support@awesome-table.com"?
Make sure you give us access to your spreadsheet and if you have sensitive data, you can make a copy of your spreadsheet.

    Hi,

I've got 2 different views setup on the same data. One of them is a directory with sidebar. I have many of the fields set to hidden and am using a template for the html. The 2nd, a simple Report view, just pulls in a bunch of data to display in a table format. For that I am also using custom html because most of the fields are already hidden for the first view.

With the custom html and {{marker}} I then am left with a report that doesn't have a column name above the data. I tried to add it to the html in the template, but it just repeats the header. Is there a solution for this?

    Thank you,
    Wesley

Hi Thomas, i found a solution using =ArrayFormula() and pulling existing data into a new sheet without the filters, then adding new filters, hiding the template column, which allowed me to display this view without an html template. This kept the headers for each column as I needed. Thanks for getting back to me.

    Hi,

I use one of the awesome tables in google site. I also use some links in it, meaning one column is a source for <a href={{Links}} target=_blank....>. This causes the websites that are below the links to open in the new tab. I want them to open in the parent window and I have already tried all the options for target, but still no option causes what I want. Can someone tell me how can I force the links to open in the same window and not in the new tabs?

    Regards,

    Adranna

    Hello Adrianna Baran,

I suppose, you are referring to the New Google Sites.

This is a Google Site limitation, we can not change this behavior. Indeed, in the new Google Site, all external links will open in a new tab/window.

    Kind regards,
    Thomas

    Hello,

I just started using Awesome Table in my organization and have created two applications that the users just love!  Is there a way to use HTML to change the date filter sliders?  We would prefer to input the date range in two fields for 'start date' and 'end date' range, as we find the sliders are hard to manipulate for precise dates.

Thank you very much for this great product.

    Regards,

    Lila

    Hello Lila Lee,

The date filters that we offer cannot be changed and it is automatically configured.

However, I understand your concerns about the way to use this filter and our developers will update the dateFilter to facilitate the manipulation.  We will announce you when the new filter will be effective.

    Thank you for your understanding.
